Amid intensifying competition from local rivals, the US tech heavyweight unveiled its latest generation of servers to target Chinese companies which are demanding scalable and automated computing solutions.
Amazon’s?Seattle presence totaled about 640,000?square feet when John Schoettler,?director of global real estate and facilities, started with the company in 2001. Fifteen years later,?Amazon now occupies 34 buildings and approximately 8.5 million square feet in Seattle, Schoettler said.
